I had a second appointment today in addition to meeting the new OB/GYN. I also went to the new perinatalist for a second detailed ultrasound. It was at the new hospital where we will be delivering the twins.
Everything looked good! Baby A is head down and lower on the left side and weighs 1 pound 4 ounces so far. Baby B is transverse (sideways) on the right and weighs 1 pound 1 ounce. They are in separate sacs and it looks like the two placentas are fused together. But the placenta is not too low as was first suspected. Here are a few of the pictures they sent home with me.
